180112-N-GT710-042 CORONADO, Calif. (Jan. 12, 2018) This painting depicts a Navy SEAL over-the-beach operation created by James Dietz, an award-winning military and aviation artist. The painting is composed of elements from the home of Naval Special Warfare training including the blacktop asphalt where SEAL and SWCC candidates train as well as water and sand from the adjacent beach. The painting was donated to the Navy SEAL Museum and placed on display at the Naval Special Warfare Basic Training Command quarterdeck.
