180206-N-HS117-0059 SAN DIEGO (Feb. 6, 2018) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Sterett (DDG104), and the USS Dewey (DDG 105), departed Naval Base San Diego for a scheduled deployment to conduct operations in the Indo-Pacific Region. Dewey and Sterett will also support the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group deployment in order to advance U.S. Pacific Fleet's Up-Gunned ESG concept and will train with forward-deployed amphibious ships across all mission areas.
