181008-N-WC984-004 MAJURO, Republic of the Marshall Islands (Oct. 8, 2018) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class David Rojas, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, Construction Civic Action Detail, Marshall Islands, examines Majuro fire crews for smoke inhalation and other injuries after putting out a fire. When a clothing store across the street from a Majuro hotel engulfed in flames, jeopardizing residential houses, NMCB 1 Sailors provided immediate first aid and firefighting assistance. NMCB 1 is forward deployed to execute construction, humanitarian and foreign assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
