When a clothing store across the street from a Majuro hotel engulfed in flames, jeopardizing residential houses, NMCB 1 Sailors provided immediate first aid and firefighting assistance. NMCB 1 is forward deployed to execute construction, humanitarian and foreign assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
