160911-N-UT455-122 PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 11, 2016) During a memorial service held aboard the amphibious landing dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) on the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, 40 red carnations symbolizing the passengers and crew, and one white daisy symbolizing the unborn child of Flight 93 are placed on a platform before being dedicated to the sea.
