Bruce Hay, commanding officer of the Pacific Missile Range Facility, holds a certificate from the Hawaii state Legislature after the base was recognized by the Hawaii House of Representatives at the Capitol in Honolulu. House Resolution No.167 recognized the Pacific Missile Range Facility for its environmental and cultural success, including the 2014 Secretary of the Navy award for natural resources conservation and the 2015 Chief of Naval Operations award for cultural resources management.
