151017-N-NB178-033 WASHINGTON (Oct. 17, 2015) Sailors who previously served aboard the Forrest Sherman-class destroyer USS Barry (DD 933) stand to be recognized during the closing ceremony for the Display Ship Barry in the Cold War Gallery at the Washington Navy Yard. The event was the final send-off before Barry is towed down the Anacostia River for dismantling. Barry was decommissioned in 1982 and became a permanent public display ship in 1984.
