200803-N-RH019-0006 CONSTANTA, Romania, (Aug. 3, 2020) United States Navy Explosive Ordinance Disposal Mobile Unit 8 conducts emergency evacuation procedures during Eurasian Partnership Mine Countermeasures (EP MCM) 2020 exercise, August 3, 2020. The drill was to test evacuation from a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat. EPMCM is a multi-lateral engagement with U.S., Romanian and Bulgarian forces, focused on enhancing mine countermeasure operations in the Black Sea, while strengthening interoperability between allied forces. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied, joint, and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
