Alan Bush, assigned to Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, and Torpedoman's Mate 1st Class Scott Mendez, assigned to the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Asheville (SSN 758), review a Harpoon Handling Supplement Manual in the torpedo room during harpoon shipping, loading and handling certification training aboard Asheville. The certification is required in order for the submarine to carry and employ warshot tactical Harpoons.
