GROTON, Conn. (April 1, 2021) The Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Providence (SSN 719) returned home to Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn., April 1, 2021 following its 16th and final deployment. Providence operated in the 7th Fleet area of operations during the boat�s seven months at sea where they executed the chief of naval operation�s maritime strategy in supporting national security interests and maritime security operations.
