FRCE takes on new V-22 workload

The first MV-22B Osprey flown by Marine Helicopter Squadron 1 (HMX-1) inducted for service at Fleet Readiness Center East sits in the aircraft paint facility after receiving a new paint job at part of Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) 2 services. The Osprey is the first of a fleet of HMX-1 V-22 aircraft scheduled to receive PMI-2 service at FRCE in the coming months following the successful completion and early return of the first aircraft.
