SAIPAN, Northern Mariana Islands (Oct. 23, 2021) The Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine USS Hampton (SSN 767) departs the island of Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Oct. 23, 2021. During the brief stop Sailors aboard Hampton participated in a weapons handing exercise with Sailors and MSC civilian mariners from the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40). Frank Cable is on patrol conducting expeditionary maintenance and logistics in support of national security in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
