SANTA RITA, Guam (Nov. 10, 2021) Navy Diver 2nd Class Kolby Konopacky, from Stevens Point, Wis., attached to Navy Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 1 uses a Keri Cable to cut up abandoned derelict vessels at the Guam Harbor of Refuge. Konopacky is part of a U.S. Navy team from Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific, Task Force 73, and Task Force 75 which began removing abandoned derelict vessels at the harbor, in partnership with U.S. Coast Guard Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam, Guam Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Statistics and Plans, Guam Department of Agriculture, Guam Power Authority, and the Port Authority of Guam.
