FRCE recognized for contributions to Fleet AV-8B Harrier readiness

Shawn Kidney, left, a pneudralics systems mechanic at Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE), and Wyatt Amacker, an aerospace engineer at the depot, test an AV-8B fuel management unit. To overcome potential issues with obtaining new FMU materials through traditional supply sources, a team consisting of members from the AV-8B Weapon Systems Program Office (PMA-257) and FRCE artisans, engineers and planners explored creative ways to ensure that production of this vital part of the Harrier engine would not be impacted.
