SAN DIEGO (Aug. 23, 2022) Lt. Claudia Mackenzie, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62), reunites with her family after the ship returns from deployment. Fitzgerald, part of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, returned to Naval Base San Diego following a seven-month deployment to the U.S. 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleets in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
