SAN DIEGO (Nov. 11, 2022) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the "Merlins" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 3 participates in a commemorative flyover of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) during the Armed Forces Classic, Carrier Edition 2022. During the event, which was held on Veteran's Day, a basketball court was constructed on Abraham Lincoln's flight deck for the college basketball game between the Gonzaga University Bulldogs and the Michigan State University Spartans. HSC-3 is the Navy's West Coast MH-60S fleet replacement squadron, responsible for training pilots and aircrewmen by providing the most capable warfighters to the Fleet.
