WASHINGTON (June 28, 2023) A graphic rendering of the future guided-missile frigate USS Lafayette (FFG 65). The ship is named in honor of the Marquis de Lafayette and his service during the American Revolutionary War. Lafayette is the fourth of the new Constellation-class frigates, scheduled to commission in 2029.
