MANILA, PHILIPPINES (Jan. 5, 2024) Cryptologic Technician (Collection) 3rd Class Ryan Regis, from Lockport, New York, uses the bridge wing binoculars to track forward contacts during a sea-and-anchor detail aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) while in-transit to Manila, Philippines. Sterett is in the Philippines for a scheduled port visit, supporting operational readiness and regional partnerships. Sterett is assigned to Carrier Strike Group 1 and deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
