PACIFIC OCEAN (April 5, 2024) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 2nd Class Johnny Snowden, from Atlanta directs an MV-22B Osprey attached to Marine Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 165 (Reinforced), 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), to land aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) during flight operations in the Pacific Ocean, April 5, 2024. VMM-165 (Rein.) is conducting deliberate, progressive training focused on the integration of MV-22s to the 15th MEU's Marine Air-Ground Task Force as pilots and air crews achieve proficiency. Boxer is the flagship of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and is currently underway conducting routine operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet with elements of the 15th MEU.
