ERCS and ERSS are components of the Navy’s expeditionary medicine (EXMED) system which provide a ready, rapidly deployable and combat effective medical forces to improve survivability across the full spectrum of care, regardless of environment. and provides uninterrupted care during patient movement from the point of injury (POI), implementation of life-saving interventions, and through Role 4 care without clinically compromising the patients’ condition.
