SECNAV Del Toro Names Future Guided Missile Frigate USS Hamilton (FFG 66)

During the event, Secretary Del Toro announced the name of the Navy's newest Constellation-Class Guided-Missile Frigate, the future USS Hamilton (FFG 66). The future USS Hamilton honors former Secretary of the Treasury and Founder of the U. S. Coast Guard Alexander Hamilton and the crews of previous Navy vessels to bear the name. Fleet Week New York is a time-honored sea service celebration that allows citizens of New York City and the surrounding tri-state region to witness today’s maritime capabilities first-hand. The 2024 celebration will host nearly 3,000 Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen.
