Gunner's Mate 2nd Class Mendoza interacts with Coco, a joy ambassador dog with the Hawaiian Human Society Pet Visitation Program, aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Dec. 10, 2024. Lt. j.g. Kelsey Fauser, a chaplain assigned to Shiloh, initiated the request via Hawaiian Humane Society, which resulted in four dogs and their handlers attending the 2-hour event.
