AMARILLO, Texas - U.S. Army medical personnel assigned to Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Maryland, arrive at Northwest Texas Healthcare System and discuss their mission as they begin to assist local staff with COVID operations in Amarillo, Texas, Jan. 25, 2022. The U.S. Army medical team is deployed in support of continued Department of Defense COVID response operations to help communities in need. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the whole-of-government COVID response. (U.S. Army B-roll package by Spc.
