AFN Aviano
Aug. 5, 2022 | 0:59
2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade provided a maneuver advisor team at the request of the Botswana Defence Force for approximately six weeks from July to August. The team worked with their BDF partners to improve their squad level infantry skills, provided non-commissioned officer development, tactical combat casualty care, and basic security and peacekeeping tactics. The 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade has teams in countries all over Africa supporting the U.S. Army’s Southern European Task Force, Africa. Headquartered at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the 2nd SFAB assists, supports, liaises, and advises foreign security partners throughout competition and into crisis and conflict.
