The Kyushu Military Retiree Association (KMRA) hosted a memorial service for USS Barbel (SS-580) crewmembers, Lt. Walter Gray Womble III and Fireman James David Lear, at the plaza in front of Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo Japan headquarters, May 7, 2023.
