Oklahoma Guard GOLD programs conduct field training

Oklahoma Army National Guard Soldiers with the Guard Officer Leadership Development (GOLD) program joined together to conduct field training exercise as a part of their annual training at Camp Gruber Training Center, Oklahoma, May 20, 2024. The training included GOLD candidates from East Central University, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and Rogers State University. GOLD is a campus-based program designed to recruit and train current enlisted Soldiers as potential officers utilizing Accelerated Officer Candidate School as a commissioning source. Additionally, the programs conduct enlisted accession recruiting activities and maintain a visible and positive relationship between the OKARNG and the supporting community.
