CAMP GRUBER TRAINING CENTER, Okla. - Reserve Officers’ Training Corps cadets from the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma developed their leadership skills during a field training exercise at Camp Gruber Training Center, Sept. 22-24, 2023. Some of these cadets are also members of the Oklahoma Army National Guard through membership in the Simultaneous Membership Program.

Soldiers enlisted in the OKARNG can use their education benefits to attend college at a state university, participate in an Army ROTC program and train as a cadet in military science. Upon graduation, the cadet is commissioned as a second lieutenant.
