A 44-person, multi-disciplinary medical team of Sailors from U.S. Navy Acute Care Team (ACT), Expeditionary Medical Facility – L (Lima), provide support to medical staff at the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas, July 23, 2020. The ACT is comprised of physicians, advance care practitioners, certified registered nurse anesthetists, nurses, pharmacists, x-ray technicians, and respiratory therapy technicians. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to states in need as well as the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-nation COVID-19 response.
