U.S., German, and French Soldiers, as well as the Commanding general, U.S. Army Forces Command, Gen. Andrew Poppas, participate in the Cabbage Patch memorial ceremony June 2, 2023 in Carentan, France. Local ceremonies are held around the Normandy area to commemorate the sacrifices of soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and allies who fought during the D-Day campaign, Operation Overlord.
