Montana National Guard Public Affairs Office
Sept. 12, 2024 | 1:02
The Montana National Guard, in conjunction with the Personnel Recovery Proponent Office, hosted the first iteration of Mountain Regions Survival SERE B (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) class on Sept. 9-13 at Fort Harrison, Mont. This class included learning basic survival skills and putting them into practice, enabling them to survive isolation and captivity to “Return with Honor.”
Capt. Toby Morrison stated, “This is the only SERE school offered by the National Guard, and we hope to open it up to more National Guard Soldiers and even Active Duty soldiers eventually.”
