27th Infantry Brigade 2023 Best Warrior Competition

New York Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team participated in a brigade-level Best Warrior Competition in Buffalo, NY, Nov. 3-5. During the three day event, the 9 candidates completed a 12-mile ruck march, military board, 3-weapon stress shoot, land navigation course, and an Army Combat Fitness Test. The top junior enlisted Soldier and noncommissioned officer will move on to the next phase of the competition slated for early next year, where they will compete for the title of New York State's Best Warrior.
