Oklahoma Army National Guardsman Staff Sgt. Brock Wilson, an Oklahoma City resident serving in the 120th Medical Company (Area Support), 120th Engineer Battalion, 90th Troop Command, participated in the first day of the the 2024 Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition, which included a ruck march, mountain warrior skills, and weapon qualifications at the Army Mountain Warfare School in Jericho, Vermont, Aug. 4, 2024. The Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition is a 5-day event composed of 14 competitors representing winners from across seven regions. Hosted by the Vermont Army National Guard, the competition tests Soldiers’ physical and mental prowess with a series of events with the overall winners receiving either Soldier of the Year or Non-commissioned Officer of the Year recognition.
