Joint Force Headquarters - Nebraska National Guard
Sept. 29, 2023 | 0:36
Currently serving Nebraska Army National Guard Soldiers with the 2-134th Infantry (Airborne), who are all also current University of Nebraska - Lincoln students, give shoutouts to the Nebraska Cornhuskers Football Team.
UNL ROTC Cadet Samuel Rosa; Junior
Spc. Will Martin from Hickman, Nebraska; Freshman
Pfc. Brett Thieman from Malcom, Nebraska; Sophomore
Pfc. Andres Kenney from Lincoln, Nebraska; Freshman
These greetings were recorded prior to an airborne training jump from an Alaska Air National Guard C-130 Hercules on Sept. 29, 2023, over the Husker Drop Zone, near Mead, Nebraska. The C-130 then provided a flyover of Memorial Stadium the following day, Sept. 30, 2023, for the Nebraska versus Michigan football game.
