The Star-Spangled Banner Official National Anthem
The United States Army Field Band
Sept. 14, 2020 | 1:58
On September 14, 1814, 35-year-old lawyer Francis Scott Key wrote the poem the “Defense of Fort McHenry” after witnessing the bombardment of the Fort, which became our National Anthem. Playing the Star-Spangled Banner in these hallowed grounds was an amazing experience and we hope that this performance instills pride in our country and reminds our citizens of our nation’s strength and resilience.

Filmed on location at Fort Mchenry in Baltimore Maryland. Featuring The Concert Band and Soldiers' Chorus of The United State Army Field Band alongside the Continental Color Guard. Special thanks for the National Parks Service for hosting us at their site.
