The Ohio National Guard promoted Col. Clarence K. Maynus To Brig. Gen. during a ceremony on June 22, 2023 in the Maj. Gen. Robert S. Beightler Armory in Columbus, Ohio. Maynus will serve as the Ohio Air National Guard chief of staff and oversee a state headquarters that helps ensure the mission readiness of over 5,000 Ohio Air National Guard personnel who support a variety of community, state and federal missions.
