Yeoman 1st Class Gina Colombo is currently assigned as full-time support at the Regional Component Command, in Great Lakes, Illinois (2023). She shares her Navy experience with Sailors heading out to the fleet for active and Reserve support. In her main role as leading petty officer of the operations and training departments, Colombo uses her expertise to take care of the more experienced Sailors located throughout the 23 Navy Operational Support Centers (NOSC) across her region. She manages the daily requests for orders and travel support and ensures NOSCs are up to date and ready.
