Vice Adm. Kelly Aeschbach serves as commander, Naval Information Forces (2023). As “I-Boss,” she is the type commander for all naval information warfare forces, and is the Navy’s most senior woman information warfare officer. Previous assignments include commander, Office of Naval Intelligence and director, National Maritime Intelligence-Integration Office; director of intelligence at U.S. Strategic Command; deputy director of intelligence at Headquarters, Resolute Support, Afghanistan; and commanding officer of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic. She also served with Carrier Strike Group 9 and took part in Operation Enduring Freedom.
