Chief Torpedoman’s Mate Nicole Jordan joined the Navy as an undesignated airman and then struck AO. She was continuously forward deployed and completed a boots-on-ground tour. She then cross-rated to torpedoman’s mate onboard the Ohio-class guided-missile submarine USS Florida (SSGN 728) Blue Crew where she completed a three year deployment and became the first woman chief torpedoman’s mate on submarines. A fitness and nutrition advocate, she is also a national Strongman competitor. Jordan is currently serving as the anti-terrorism officer and an instructor for Submarine Learning Facility in Norfolk (2023).
