Lt. Amanda Lee became the first woman to serve as a demonstration pilot for the Blue Angels in 2022. For more than 55 years, hundreds of women have served with the Blue Angels representing the very best of the Navy and Marine Corps, but Lee’s selection marked the first time the squadron selected a woman F/A-18E/F pilot as part of their demonstration pilot team.
