NPAC is organized, trained and equipped to maintain worldwide deployable and non-deployable PA and VI resources made up of active duty and reserve personnel to support the fleet with PA and VI capabilities.

Supporting Services:

NPAC personnel are deployable across the globe, ready to share the Navy’s story through compelling and accurate visual media. Typical assignments include:

  • Fleet Deployments: NPAC personnel often deploy with naval fleets, which may operate in different regions around the globe. This could include deployments on aircraft carriers, amphibious assault ships, destroyers, and other naval vessels.
  • Exercises and Operations: NPAC personnel deploy to support multinational exercises and operations that involve U.S. Navy participation. These exercises enhance interoperability with allied and partner nations.
  • Humanitarian Missions: During humanitarian missions and disaster relief operations, NPAC personnel may deploy to provide public affairs support and communicate the Navy's efforts to assist affected populations.
  • Joint Operations: They collaborate with personnel from other branches of the U.S. military, as well as international military forces, in joint operations and coalition efforts.
