What is NPAC?

As the Echelon II Commander under the Navy’s Chief of Information (CHINFO), Navy Public Affairs Command (NPAC) provides operational oversight for the Navy's public affairs expeditionary force. NPAC's primary role is to man, train, and equip its subordinate Fleet Public Affairs Centers, ensuring they are ready to deploy skilled Public Affairs Officers (PAOs) and Mass Communication Specialists (MCs) anywhere in the world. This process guarantees a professional and globally postured force prepared for any communication contingency. NPAC is also a premier training entity, offering Public Affairs courses for both officers and enlisted personnel.
