Training Support Center (TSC) Great Lakes awarded 2nd Quarter Instructors of the Quarter and Sailors of the Quarter, and 1st Quarter Civilians of the Quarter, during a ceremony, April 24.
TSC Command Master Chief Randy Reid said the boards were highly competitive for the Navy military training instructors (NMTI), reflecting the high quality and commitment to excellence demonstrated at the command.
"Petty Officers Gardner, Armstrong and Sullivan have shown outstanding leadership and dedication, traits we highly value in our Sailors," Reid said. "The Sailor and Instructor of the Quarter program exists for that reason; to honor those who go above and beyond. All awardees epitomize our Navy's core values, and are outstanding representatives of TSC Great Lakes."
The civilian of the quarter selection board reviewed submissions from a large number of very qualified candidates.
“Mr. Elliott's and Ms. Butler's daily dedication to achieving the command's mission are shining examples of the stellar civilian workforce we have and is what we have come to expect from the TSC civilians,” said Mike Bilak, executive director of TSC. “Their recognition as Senior and Junior Civilian of the Quarter is well deserved.”
