Training Support Center (TSC) Great Lakes awarded 2nd Quarter Instructors of the Quarter and Sailors of the Quarter, and 1st Quarter Civilians of the Quarter, during a ceremony, May 24.

TSC Command Master Chief Randy Reid said the boards were highly competitive for the Navy military training instructors (NMTI), reflecting the high quality and commitment to excellence demonstrated at the command.

"Quarterly awards are utilized to recognize and reward our deserving Sailors who have set an example worthy of emulation by others," Reid said. "Although we have many stellar Sailors at TSC who all do a fantastic job day-in and day-out, those selected are the Sailors who are the top performers among their peers."

The civilian of the quarter selection board reviewed submissions from a large number of very qualified candidates.

"Our civilian workforce brings years of expertise, know-how and resourcefulness to the table," said Cmdr. Kevin Halfacre, executive officer of TSC. "They are absolutely integral in supporting our command mission."
