Training Support Center's (TSC), Great Lakes, Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions (CSADD) Sailors treated "A" school students in the USS Cole barracks to breakfast, Sept. 8.

On the menu for Sailors were eggs, pancakes, breakfast burritos and information to raise awareness of the CSADD organization and volunteer opportunities they are involved with in the community.

"We are always willing to accept volunteers to make a difference in the community," said Fire Controlman 3rd Class Robert Jaime, CSADD team member. "There are a wide variety of programs we work with that need our help. Organizations contact us all the time searching for help, and if we can provide that help, we will make a difference in the lives of many people in our community."

Currently CSADD is volunteering with Holy Trinity Food Pantry, Habitat for Humanity, area forest preserves and Bernie's Book Bank.

"These organizations our always happy when they see us," Jaime said. "They know that when we show up, we are ready to work. They know that the Navy cares. Our goal is to share the great feeling we experience every time we complete a job."

CSADD Sailors promote positive choices and develop leadership through organizing local social networks, facilitating discussion, producing visual messages, promoting community involvement and hosting recreational events.
