Jewish Institute Seeks to Award Sailors for Grateful Nation Award

The Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA) is accepting nominations for its Grateful Nation Award during JINSA's 34th annual Award Dinner in Washington, D.C.
The Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA) is accepting nominations for its Grateful Nation Award during JINSA's 34th annual Award Dinner in Washington, D.C.

Established in 2003, the Grateful Nation Award is presented annually to six service members within the Department of Defense who have exemplified superior conduct in the war on terrorism.

For consideration, nominees must be O-4 and below or E-8 and below, and should have distinguished themselves by exhibiting superior service while deployed in the performance of duties directly related to the global war on terror. Award nominations are due to OPNAV134 by Aug. 15.
