Learning standards officers and field training specialists from the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training attended a three-day manager's workshop at the Pensacola, Florida command, July 26-28.

The CNATT Training Manager's Workshop, entitled '2025 - Shaping Training Brilliantly!' included lectures and presentations on a variety of training initiatives, something event organizer CNATT N7 Training Directorate Curriculum Manager Bill Hurst said pays dividends to the service members passing through one of the domain's 27 learning sites.

"CNATT's training sites are responsible for training more than 120,000 Sailors and Marines around the world for aviation technical training," said Hurst. "Meeting like this each year ensures everyone is on the same page; that the Sailors our detachments are training are receiving the best course of study in preparation for deployment to the fleet."

The three-day workshop included various lectures, including briefs on manpower, the roles and responsibilities of the FTS, presentations on learning object modules and content planning modules, a look at mobile training seams, and discussions about the Navy-wide Sailor 2025 initiative, 'Ready, Relevant Learning.'

"There's a lot of changes coming and it's important to have all of our individuals come in from all over the world to understand our new current policies and the new way ahead," said Dr. Tony Catanese, Ph.D., CNATT learning standards officer. "We're ensuring the curriculum is where it needs to be to get the Sailor or Marine to the fleet with the right information at the right time."

CNATT is the technical training agent for the Naval Aviation Enterprise, an organization designed to advance and sustain naval aviation warfighting capabilities at an affordable cost, and is the largest training center under the Naval Education and Training Command.
