Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) Force Master Chief (FORCM) Mamudu K. Cole visited Sailors from Training Support Center (TSC) San Diego, March 14.

Cole is a native of Freetown, Sierra Leone, whose naval career spans nearly 30 years. His visit with TSC San Diego was part of a broader familiarization tour of NETC commands/activities in the Pacific region.

After meeting with TSC San Diego Command Master Chief (CMDCM) Daniel Marsch and other senior enlisted leaders from San Diego region learning sites, Cole toured a number of training facilities across the San Diego waterfront, where he took time to speak with chief petty officers and first class petty officers.

"This is a tough place to be and we appreciate what you do," said Cole. "My goal is to learn from you to see how I can help you better meet challenges."

Cole spoke with the training staff about a variety of current training concerns and future training program developments.

"We're fortunate to have FORCM Cole visit TSC San Diego and meet with the senior enlisted personnel who are tirelessly working to ensure that the fleet is receiving mission-capable Sailors," said Capt. John D. Wilshusen, TSC San Diego commanding officer. "His guidance and support to improve current training structures helps the Navy prepare for future challenges."
