NAVFAC Southeast Awards $75 Million To Small Businesses

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southeast awarded a $75 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award, design-build construction contract on Oct. 30 to eight different small business contractors.
Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southeast awarded a $75 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award, design-build construction contract on Oct. 30 to six different small business contractors.

The work to be performed by 2H&V Construction Services of Bonifay, Florida, Birmingham Industrial Construction LLC, of Alabaster, Alabama, ESA South Inc., of Cantonment, Florida, Firewatch Contracting of Florida LLC, of Tampa, Florida, J.A.M. Construction Services, of Merritt Island, Florida, and York-Brawley JV, of Hampton, Virginia provides for, but is not limited to, general building type projects (new construction, renovation, alteration, demolition, and repair work) including industrial, infrastructure, administrative, training, dormitory, and community support facilities.

Firewatch Contracting of Florida LLC is being awarded the first task order of $1.1 million for window replacement and repair, at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida.

Work will be performed within the NAVFAC Southeast area of responsibility. Work for this task order is expected to be completed by January 2017.
