NAVFAC Pacific Awards $103 Million Contract for Work on Guam

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific awarded a $103 million firm-fixed-price contract to Caddell-Nan JV, of Montgomery, Alabama, March 25 for the construction of bachelor enlisted quarters (BEQ) at Joint Region Marianas on Naval Base Guam.

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific awarded a $103 million firm-fixed-price contract to Caddell-Nan JV, of Montgomery, Alabama, March 25 for the construction of bachelor enlisted quarters (BEQ) at Joint Region Marianas on Naval Base Guam.

The work to be performed provides for the design and construction of a multi-story BEQ building complex that will provide housing for unaccompanied Marine Corps personnel. The BEQ complex will consist of a BEQ tower, a community core building, a wash and drying area and a utility building. The work will also include necessary site preparation, paving and site improvements, landscaping, fire lane, parking, pavilions, horseshoe pit, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, trash enclosures, bollards, signage and environmental mitigation.

Work will be performed in Finegayan, Guam with an expected completion date of April 2023. 

This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online and the Federal Business Opportunities websites, with six proposals received.
