Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest awarded a $99 million multiple award service contract, April 3, in San Diego for custodial services at U.S. Navy and Marine Corps installations located primarily within NAVFAC Southwest’s area of responsibility (AOR).
“This MASC will allow field offices to execute competitive task orders to meet custodial service requirements in a timely manner within the NAVFAC Southwest’s area of responsibility,” said Rea Estrella, NAVFAC Southwest contracting officer supervisor. “This contract will promote job growth, support of the economy, and improve the quality of life and morale of the warfighter.”
Alutiiq C&W Services LLC and Consolidated Solutions LLC of Anchorage, Ala.; joint venture Claxton/LTS LLC of Stafford, Virginia; King & George LLC of Fort Worth, Texas; and Melgar Facility Maintenance LLC of San Jose, Calif. were contracted to provide recurring and non-recurring custodial services to meet routine, daily operational needs. The custodial services may include space cleaning, emptying waste dusting, restroom cleaning, recycling containers, low and high area cleaning, break-room cleaning, interior and exterior window cleaning, window blinds cleaning, drinking fountain cleaning, and floor care.
NAVFAC Southwest’s AOR includes Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, and Utah. NAFAC Southwest is the contracting activity. The term of the contract will end by spring 2025.
