Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest Announces Sailors of the Quarter

Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest announced, April 2, the selections of Builder 1st Class Jeffrey M. Jutz as Senior Sailor of the Quarter, Construction Electrician 2nd Class Bryan G. Terrazas as Junior Sailor of the Quarter, and Builder Constructionman Luis R. Medina as Blue

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest announced, April 2, the selections of Builder 1st Class Jeffrey M. Jutz as Senior Sailor of the Quarter, Construction Electrician 2nd Class Bryan G. Terrazas as Junior Sailor of the Quarter, and Builder Constructionman Luis R. Medina as Blue Jacket of the Quarter.

“These members were chosen from among their peers as the individuals who most clearly and consistently exhibited the exemplary qualities of a true professional in the performance of their duties,” said NAVFAC Southwest Commanding Officer Capt. Mike Oestereicher in an email announcing their selections.

Sailors were selected for the 2nd Quarter of fiscal year 2020.

Jutz was recognized for his performance as Leading Petty Officer for Naval Base Coronado Self-Help Division. He provided leadership to 14 Seabees and facilities sustainment support to 142 tenant commands at eight installations.

Terrazas was recognized as the individual who most clearly and consistently exhibited the exemplary qualities of a true professional leading four Seabees during a quality construction renovation project at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado.

Medina was chosen as the individual who most clearly and consistently exhibited the exemplary qualities of a true professional as a crew member for Naval Base Coronado, Self-Help San Clemente Island Division.
